Ashby Manor Guest House - Cape Town

Charming older manor with character and spacious rooms. The side sea view from the Beautiful Double Room provided a nice backdrop for relaxation.

Very poor WiFi connectivity made things tough. Only one host available from 7 AM to 3 PM, limiting assistance. The laundry fee felt steep at R400 for any amount of clothes. Noise from other guests was concerning, along with a missing panel on the shower door and the need for anti-mosquito repellants.

the rooms are a nice size with good views, white linen and private garden and the staff are extremely helpful.

In overall, the place is quaint, has extremely helpful and very professional staff with a very down to earth and humble Manager. Everything is nice, I recommend the hotel.

What a hidden gem! This charming spot seemed like home, with a cozy atmosphere and a amazing sea view from my private balcony-perfect for yoga. The staff were warm. Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood yet minutes from Seapoint's vibrance, it's a sanctuary that I can't recommend enough!

easy check in and fast check out. newly remodelled room, exceptionally comfortable bed, and well equipped bathroom. sensational breakfast with a huge variety of nice foods. good area, central location near to the waterfront.

Recently renovated hotel in a stunning location very close to the V & A Waterfront, welcoming personal. Great breakfast with a wide range of choices. Easy check-in and fast check-out, parking on site. Not to mention good wifi!

OMG, the smoked fish from nearby Bootlegger Coffee Company was a flavor explosion! And waking up to that sea view every morning was just pure magic. Plus, Liesl surprised me with a room upgrade .

Okay, so the power went out during loadshedding, and Ashby Manor doesn't have a generator, but the staff kept us in the loop about the schedule. Everything else still shined bright!

The sea view from our Beautiful Double Room was fine, and the sound of the waves made for a relaxing ambience. The comfortable beds ensured we had a restful night's sleep after our adventures exploring the nearby shops and beach. The atmosphere was cute, improved with the friendly chats with the staff.

The place was like home, and the staff were super friendly. We loved the fine views of Lions Head and the ocean. It's in a safe area, close to shops and the beach. Highly recommend checking out the nearby markets and restaurant scene when you're there!

Comfortable beds, great free Wi-Fi. Noisy shared bathrooms were a downside.

I stayed in the Double Room with Shared Bathroom for 2 nights. The room was a bit cramped but had comfy beds. Honestly, it was a bit noisy because it was shared, so I could hear others around. The decor was nice, and I loved the friendly vibe from the staff. Just wished the bathroom situation was more private.

Great food options and an excellent location right at the heart of a shopping center.

This place has a great location, within walking distance of restaurants and an oceanarium, in a lovely area.

The location is amazing, and the breakfast includes delicious hot dishes and cheeses.
